Summary/ Overview

The Deputy Manager supports the Manager in delivering QA’s assessment and operational services to a high standard. The role focuses on day-to-day team leadership, quality assurance, process improvement, and stakeholder support, helping ensure exams and services run smoothly, fairly, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve analytical documents related to formulation (STP, protocols, reports, validation documents)
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, ICH, and regulatory guidelines (USFDA, EU, WHO, etc.)
• Handle OOS, OOT, deviations, change controls, and CAPA related to analytical activities
• Support method validation, method transfer, and stability studies for formulation products
• Participate in regulatory audits and inspections; prepare responses and ensure closure
• Review analytical data integrity and ensure ALCOA+ compliance
• Coordinate with QC, R&D, and Regulatory Affairs teams
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior QA staff
