POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate to focus on Global Capital raising and novel drug Out licensed Partner engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment banking, with a particular focus on the healthcare industry. As a Senior Associate, you will play a critical role in executing strategic projects and supporting the team’s initiatives in Capital raising, and global partnering or managing global commercialisation for novel drugs. Will involve significant international travel so global exposure is a must.

• Project Execution: Collaborate with senior team members in executing venture capital and project finance deals within the healthcare / pharmaceutical industries. Assist in structuring financial transactions, conducting due diligence, and analysing market trends to identify investment opportunities
• Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including company valuations, financial modelling, and scenario planning for potential investment opportunities and projects. Generate detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to internal stakeholders and clients
• Industry Research: Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in the healthcare / pharmaceutical sectors. Analyse market data and competitor information to provide valuable insights to support investment strategies and project decisions
• Deal Sourcing: Actively participate in deal sourcing activities, leveraging your network and industry expertise to identify project opportunities. Collaborate with the team to evaluate and assess these opportunities based on strategic fit and financial viability
• Deal Execution: Collaborate with senior team members in managing deal execution processes, including preparing marketing materials, pitch books, and investment memorandums. Assist in coordinating due diligence and other deal- related activities.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferably with a science / healthcare / medicine background
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on the healthcare sector, preferably with experience in the pharmaceutical domain
• Solid understanding of financial modeling, company valuation, and investment analysis
• Demonstrated track record in executing deals and project finance transactions
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical industry regulations and trends
