Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Warehouse Manager for our reputable pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse management, including a strong background in auditing, quality control, and regulatory compliance within the pharmaceutical industry. With at least 20 years of overall experience, the Senior Warehouse Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our pharmaceutical inventory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES SHALL INCLUDE:
  1. Warehouse Operations Management:
    • Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and safe operations
    • Oversee daily activities such as receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfilment, and shipping
    • Monitor and optimize warehouse space utilization, layout, and workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, and distribution, to meet production and delivery targets
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Distribution Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and relevant health and safety regulations
    • Implementation and upgradation of SAP systems in the warehouse operations
  2. Inventory Management and Control:
    • Develop and implement inventory management systems and procedures to ensure accurate tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of pharmaceutical products
    • Perform regular audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions
    • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to ensure adherence to product quality standards and specifications
    • Oversee product expiration date monitoring and manage product recalls, as necessary.
  3. Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and mentor a team of warehouse supervisors, coordinators, and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and teamwork.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals, and provide
    • feedback to enhance individual and team performance
    • Identify training needs and develop training programs to improve warehouse staff’s knowledge and skills.
    • Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety guidelines
  4. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), inventory accuracy, and order fulfilment rates
    • Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency enhancements
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to address identified areas of improvement

QUALIFICATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics) is preferred.
KEY COMPETENCIES
  • Handling major Audit like EU, TGA MHRA USFDA in last 2 years
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in warehouse management in the reputed pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven experience in auditing, quality control, and regulatory compliance within a pharmaceutical warehouse environment
  • Strong knowledge of Good Distribution Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and other relevant regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse workforce
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments and levels of the organization
