Vitamin ETPGS
Alpha Tocopheryl Polyethylene Glycol Succinate (TPGS) is widely used as a water-soluble vitamin E formulation. TPGS is synthesized from the lipid-soluble antioxidant, α-tocopherol (vitamin E) by grafting to a polyethylene glycol (PEG) oligomer through a succinate diester linker. Vitamin-E TPGS is amphiphile that is it has a dual nature. Vitamin-E TPGS is prepared from two different sources – Natural and synthetic vitamin E.
