About the Role

As Manager / Senior Manager – Clinical Pharmacology at our Whitefield, Bangalore office, you will lead clinical pharmacology strategy for our global development team, translating preclinical research into human clinical protocols while optimizing dosing for diverse patient populations across ophthalmology, hepatology, and autoimmune disease pipelines.

This role applies pharmacology principles specific to ocular delivery, hepatic impairment dosing, and autoimmune conditions, working closely with quantitative modeling teams and multidisciplinary project groups to bring NCEs from bench to bedside.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical pharmacology design for Phase I–IV protocols, including first-in-human and drug-drug interaction studies
  • Apply pharmacology principles specific to ocular delivery, hepatic impairment dosing, and autoimmune conditions
  • Collaborate on PK/PD data interpretation and dose justification with quantitative modeling teams
  • Author clinical pharmacology sections for regulatory submissions (IBs, INDs, study reports)
  • Serve as core pharmacology representative on multidisciplinary project teams
  • Integrate safety and efficacy biomarkers into clinical trial designs

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ph.D., Pharm.D., or M.D. in Clinical Pharmacology or a related discipline
  • 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech with clinical protocol design experience
  • Experience in ophthalmology, hepatology, or immunology/autoimmune disease development
  • Strong regulatory knowledge of FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines
  • Exceptional technical writing and English communication skills
  • Preferred: experience managing small molecule or biologics studies; familiarity with complex trial operations
