About the Role

As Manager – Talent Acquisition at our Whitefield, Bangalore office, you will own the complete recruitment lifecycle for Bioplus — from requisition generation through to candidate onboarding. You will work directly with senior leadership and hiring managers across R&D, API manufacturing, formulations, quality, regulatory, and commercial teams to design and execute talent strategies that attract the best scientific and technical professionals in the industry.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned TA professional who thrives in a fast-moving, science-driven organisation and has a genuine passion for pharma and life sciences hiring.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from requisition generation to candidate onboarding across all business functions
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies through multiple channels including job boards, LinkedIn, social platforms, employee referrals, campus recruitment, and industry networks
• Lead market mapping and competitor intelligence exercises to identify passive talent pools for niche pharma, R&D, and quality roles
• Conduct structured screening and competency-based assessments; manage interview coordination with department heads and senior leadership
• Oversee offer management and compensation benchmarking in alignment with HR policy and market data
• Maintain comprehensive recruitment metrics and dashboards — track time-to-fill, source quality, offer acceptance rates, and attrition patterns
• Build and strengthen employer branding initiatives including LinkedIn presence, career fairs, and campus partnerships with pharma/biotech institutes
• Develop and manage a talent pipeline for recurring and specialised roles across the organisation
• Ensure compliance with all company recruitment policies, labour laws, and equal opportunity hiring practices
• Mentor and guide junior members of the TA team, setting performance targets and reviewing work quality

Qualifications & Experience

• MBA, PGDM, or PG Diploma in Human Resources from a recognised institution
• 8–12 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with a minimum of 3–5 years in a managerial capacity
• Prior experience in pharma, life sciences, biotechnology, or R&D sectors strongly preferred
• Demonstrated success in hiring for technical roles including scientists, engineers, quality professionals, and regulatory specialists
• Proficiency with recruitment platforms (Naukri, LinkedIn Talent Solutions, Indeed) and ATS systems
• Strong understanding of workforce planning, headcount budgeting, and talent analytics
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — comfortable presenting to C-suite and senior leadership
• High attention to detail, strong process orientation, and ability to manage multiple open mandates simultaneously
